Academics grounded in service
If you are seeking a career in healthcare that aligns with your faith, Kettering College in Ohio offers a unique environment where medical excellence and Christian values are inseparable. As a Seventh-day Adventist institution, the College is dedicated to the ministry of healing, preparing you to serve others with the same compassion modeled by Jesus.
Academics grounded in service
At Kettering College, your education goes beyond textbooks and clinical labs. The curriculum is built on the philosophy of "whole-person care," which means you will learn to address not just the physical ailments of a patient, but their emotional and spiritual needs as well. With a heavy focus on high-demand fields like nursing, physician assistant studies, and occupational therapy, the College provides a rigorous academic experience. Because the school is integrated with the Kettering Health network, you will have the opportunity to complete clinical rotations in a faith-based hospital system that prioritizes prayer and spiritual support as part of the healing process.
A community of faith
Student life at the College is designed to foster a deep sense of Christian community. You will find a campus culture that respects the Sabbath and encourages spiritual growth through weekly chapel services, small-group Bible studies, and praise and worship sessions. For those who feel called to serve beyond the classroom, the school organizes regular local service projects and international medical mission trips. These experiences allow you to take your skills to underserved populations, sharing both medical aid and the message of God's love.
Purpose beyond the profession
Choosing this College means joining a group of like-minded peers who view healthcare as a calling rather than just a job. The small campus size ensures that you aren’t just a number; you are part of a family where faculty and staff are committed to mentoring you as a professional and a believer. You will graduate ready to enter the medical field as a competent provider and a servant leader.
